For pets sourced via RescueGroups.org, we are required to implement a "Pet Adoption Tracker" invisible pixel on the pages where these pets are displayed. This pixel is provided by RescueGroups.org and helps them track adoption outcomes and pet views. When you view these pets, RescueGroups.org may collect your IP address or other basic request data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control this third-party tracking.

3. Data Retention

Server logs containing IP addresses are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes before being automatically deleted. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and is not linked to personally identifiable information. Pet data fetched from third-party APIs is cached locally but is strictly managed; if an API provider revokes access or requests deletion, we will purge their data from our systems immediately.
